HI everyone! I know I haven blogged in a long time, so here I am!
Chinese new year is next week, I know everyone wants to look great right?
This post is for Joanne, since she asked me abt my straightener. But I think just using the straightener is not enough, so I decided to be more detailed abt getting straight hair. Or at least it looks straight to me. Im not trying to achieve those rebonded straight hair.
This is the straightener i bought from Watsons. Its ionic plus ceramic. The ions are used to help to split up the water molecules so it can disperse into your hair evenly.
Comes with 2 attachments : detangling comb and another to make you hair shiny

It looks bulky right? Thats the down side. But its still find to use it without the steam and

For straight hair, I use this shampoo. Clairol Herbal Essences dangerously straight
And this conditioner. Essential rich premier
I just started using this and I find that its the best conditioner i have ever used! It comes in 3 different colours, i mean the bottles, and of cos have different fragrances. This orange one has a tangy orange smell. Contains honey, caramel, royal jelly and milk! Surprisingly, no orange.
This one also not bad. Its a hair mask.
And nvr ever ever buy this. It costed me $20! I left it on my hair to condition for 30 mins the smell was great and long lasting plus i could tell my hair became very soft after that but it made my hair look frizzy. zzz
I haven tried leaving the essential conditioner in my hair for more than 5 mins b4. but seriously, 5 mins is enough to have nice soft hair. For the herbal essences hair mask, I tried leaving it in for 30 mins the smell stayed for more than half a day. but when i tried washing it off the mask, it felt like my hair was tangling tgt when its wet. when its dry its fine though.
Btw, the conditioners and hair mask are not leave in types. they have to be washed off afterall. and some of their prices you see outside might be more expensive. so dun be cheated of your money.
